I login this morning (8 am Mountain time) and i was not able to create a new character from the faction beta. It ask me to choose the GW core or the GW faction. I chose fraction and it just display a screen with 3 screen shots and have an "OK" button. Do i have to add the public key or something???

that's weird, it didn't ask me to choose core or faction last night...did you go to the main site and get the free weekend key?

and yes, the event started at midnight PST

Thats because you were trying to create a Roleplaying character. You can only create a PvP assassin or ritualist for the event.

how do i unlock skills? i pick A/Ri but all skills are locked.

If you use one of the premade builds you will have some skills available, otherwise use faction to unlock.

Europe it was at 8am and yep only pvp
